Looking for a 1960's thru present VW camper to use as a tow vehicle.

We are full-timers and take a lot of side trips, and feel a small camper would help fit our overnite needs. we are not hippies  however we are from that era :) .

Have no idea where you are currently, but there are quite a few of them setting around in the desert SE of Tucson. In all conditions from not much there to fully restored.
Happy RVing and good luck. 8-)

During the winter months we are in Whetstone, AZ which is about 70 miles SE of Tucson. We had a house there for several years, but increased taxes and insurance led us to lease two lots in an RV park and go back to our RV full time. Great area, warm winters and not many people down in that area comparatively speaking. We love it. Right now we are in Aurora, MO. seeing family and officiating at a couple of weddings for our grand children. I rebuild old vehicles in the winter time there in AZ so see lots of different ones setting around in the desert.
Happy RVing.

On highway 82 between Whetstone and highway 83 there was one place that had several VW Camper rigs setting in the weeds, and over in the Sulfur Springs Valley on highway 191 between Interstate 10 and Douglas there are or were several up and down that stretch of highway in various states of repair, some of the small towns along that stretch have lots of older rigs off the highway also. We will be back out there in about two weeks for a while, will let you know if we see some of them while there for our doc appts.

Happy RVing.
