Hi guys and gals!! We're new to the forum and will be starting the full timer lifestyle soon and was wondering if anyone has or heard of a couple workamping that travel with family with them. The reason I'm asking is that our adult daughter (22yr old) will be traveling with us for a while but won't be working at the same location, unless they have 3 job vacancies. Was just curious and wanted some input and pointer from people who have been out and about for a while.

Thanks,
The Williams Family

Some places won't care as long as you are using only 1 site - others will. You will just have to discuss this with any potential employer. We have had host families at locations prior to our being there - grandkids who lived with the adults performing the work, but have never met any as we have tended to host where there is only 1 or 2 hosts. Some of the larger parks that require several hosts may have a variety of host /family types.

In our many years of Workamping, we have had families with young children also on board.

My suggestion as has been mentioned, be up front with the owner of the campground, and know the rules.

Don't be afraid to communicate with the owners.

Thanks everyone! We are just getting ready to start out and just want to cover all of our bases. Our daughter would also be willing to work as well, so that could be a plus as well in some cases.
