If I sign up for the trial and decided that I like it, can I pay the additional $15 to upgrade to a year?

I plan on being an electric only plus member as my mail sometimes takes months to get to me. Aside from the hard copy, is there anything else that I will really be missing out on?

How is the site laid out? Are the ads searchable? Can you view them by location, type, compensation, etc.?

If I sign up today, will I be able to see listings from two issues ago that are still relevant today? In other words, if jack the pumpkin lot owner was looking for people in June to man his lot in October but only placed the June ad, will I see it? ... even if I am on the 2 issue trial?

Thanks in advance
jenn

OK, according to http://www.workamper.com/WKN2008_tutorials.cfm I see that the magazine is in PDF format and that the hotline are listed by state and are searchable. When are listings removed from the hotline? Will I be able to access the hotline page with the 2 issue trial?

cheers,
jenn

Hotline listings on the web site represent the last 7 days. Yes, with any Plus subscription you can view the online hotline.

If you decide that you would like a full subscription anytime during your trial subscription, you will need to purchase a one year or more subscription. If you do go with the WorkamperPlus Electronic, your cost for a one year subscription would be $37. We would then add one year to your current expiration date that was created when you signed up for the trial subscription.

Nope! The only difference between the regular WorkamperPlus and the WorkamperPlus Electronic is the mailing of the printed copy of our magazine. Both subscriptions allow you to see the current and past issues of our magazine online.

There is not one main "job list". There are multiple places for you to view "help wanted" ads. The Hotline ad page, the online issues of Workamper News magazine, the Featured Employers, and other assorted pages like WorkCamping for Charities, Business/Income Opportunities, Career Opportunities, etc. All of these things I just mentioned (except for the online issues of WKN magazine) can be found by clicking on the Workampers tab then mousing over Find A Job. The online issues of WKN magazine can be found by clicking on the Workampers tab, then mouse over Online Tools.

The Hotline page has a keyword search box at the top of the page that will allow you to do keyword searches on the current week's ads. You can also sort those ads by state.

The online issues of the magazine are PDF files that open in Adobe Acrobat Reader. This program has a toolbar that runs across the top of the page when you have an issue open. There is a search box in this toolbar so you could do keyword searches on a certain location, job position, pay, etc.

The trial subscription is still a full subscription, it's just a shortened time period. You will have full access to all sections of Workamper.com Again, the Hotline page shows ads that were posted in the last seven days - employers can schedule their ads to run for one week or two weeks, so some ads will appear for seven days and some will be on there for 14 days. Hotline ads are generally for employers looking to fill a position ASAP.

You will be able to view the current issue of Workamper News magazine - Sept/Oct 2009. This issue appears at the top of the WKN Magazine Online page. All past issues through 2006 are also included on this page, so you can view any issues from May/June 2006 to the Sept/Oct 2009 issue. If a position advertised in the magazine is filled, the ad is not changed or removed. The issues of the magazine that are placed online are the exact version that is printed and mailed out.

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions!
