Wondering why we can't know who views our resumes? I had 10-12 emails in the last 2 weeks saying 'an employer has viewed my resume' but I haven't a clue who. Would be nice to know who, where and why they would be looking and if I might be interested in their opening and location.
What's everyone's take on this?

Have the same experience as you.Wish it would say who they are,but then again, some might email back to the employers and overload their inbox when they are not what the employer is looking for as far as qualifications.

If people knew who looked at their resume the employer would probably be getting a lot of unsolicited emails. I would be much more concerned if many were looking and none were actually contacting me. That might mean my resume may need a change or two.

I was wondering if anyone can view resume's other than those who subscribe as Workamper Employers?
Just wondering.

I have a question, its not quite the same topic, but close.
Are the situations wanted ads some how tied to our Awesome Applications? I see a lot of people saying "see my Awesome Application" in their situation wanted ad. Personally, if they are, I would rather just have them look at it instead of placing my contact info in the ad. I assumed that since I didn't see a situation ads menu in the employer menu, granted I only have employee access, that there isn't a way for them to match the ad and the AA. Are the situation ads only available to employers via the PDF?
Thanks in advance.

You can email your resume to an employer, or anyone, who is not a WKN subscriber. You can email your AA resume by clicking the Email link on the Resume Builder intro screen. When your resume is emailed, it is formatted the same way it appears when you click the Preview button in Resume Builder tool. To insure the email makes it into inboxes, the photos are included as a link at the top of the email. The receiver just needs to click that link to view your photos.
Employers can view the Situations Wanted ads in the magazine - either the print or online version. Workampers can include whatever information you like in a Situations Wanted ad. Subscribing employers can search for resumes using a variety of criteria, so in your ad you just need to include either your name, email address or your resume number (which is your subscriber number).

Is there a way for someone to view my resume' and tell me what's wrong with it? I have sent out 36 resume's since Nov. 27, and haven't heard but a couple, and needles-to say, I still don't have a job. What's wrong with me?

I turned off that notification email function as soon as I uploaded my AA information. The employers put in their search criteria, and even if the search is narrow, your resume might be in there. That's all I ever took that notification to mean. Your resume simply matched up to a particular criteria.
Previous threads wonder about singles discrimination, so for example, unless one of the criteria is for couples only, your resume could be included in many searches erroneously.

There are a couple of sample resumes and some articles on resumes at http://www.workamper.com. After you log in, go to Viewpoint, then click on articles. You can scroll down to see titles. By comparing yours to theirs, you might get some ideas on how to improve yours. CJ
