Hi. I am recently widowed and will be continuing on with workamping as I did with my husband. My first conundrum..what do you think of using Interstate batteries versus Ford Motorcraft batteries for an 2012 F350 Diesel V8 6.7ltr. I can save nearly $60 using Interstate from Costco versus Ford batteries. The truck is used mostly for moving my fifth-wheel and not so much for daily driving. I am also new at doing Forums; not sure what I'm doing quite yet....Thx in advance for your thoughts.

Batteries like most everything else are a matter of personal choice. For my part Interstate are about the best made, I used them in a fleet of trucks for many years. Good warranties and most every place has dealers for them. I don't buy any batteries and such from dealers, always higher price and not any better batteries. Same goes for tires, I buy all my tires on E Bay and save a bundle every time. Just bought six LT235-75R-17 tires for our 3500 one ton, got them on E Bay for 644 bucks, even with twenty dollars per tire to mount and balance still way below any dealer or tire company shop.
Happy RVing.
