Hello......

My spouse doesn't think our pop up will work, as it is a glorified tent. No shower/toilet/electricity etc.
I'd very much love in put on this

Thank you so much :D :D

Depends on where you are going to work/volunteer. There are many campgrounds that are for self-contained units only, which means they do not have bathrooms or showers. We volunteered at a forestry park( as hosts we had full-hookups) that had nice vault toilets, but no sink to wash your hands and no showers. We had to use the facilities in our RV. We have stopped overnight at private campgrounds that were also for self-contained units only.

We worked one summer a few years back in Virginia where one of our fellow the Workampers and her daughter lived in a Popup. They used the campground facilities for their shower and other needs.

Just feel free to ask the campground if that is acceptable?

Sorry, Self-Contained means you do have a complete unit with Bath/shower, toilet and kitchen!

I know what self-contained means. If the campground does not have bathrooms, showers for your use, then you must be self-contained and have your own facilities to use. Not all campgrounds have showers even though they may have pit toilets. Some campgrounds do not have bathrooms and showers. You must be a self-contained unit to even stay there.
