I have been RVing/workamping in a 28' class C motorhome, towing a small car with four wheels down.
I am considering going to a smallish (30-32') fifth wheel. Does anyone have experience with one as a solo woman? I'm 62, relatively strong (but starting to feel my age:) and am wondering if a 5th wheel is doable for me. Any thought would be appreciated!

Haven't been getting very much response since WKN went on Facebook with the topic "Workamper Intros"! You may want to try going to the search box on top and typing in the Topic!

My thought would be from what I experienced being a Camper fanatic since 1990! I've seen others with fifth wheels have trouble hooking and unhooking from the hitch pin, especially when the ground is not level! Best bet would to be to ask 5th wheel owners at the campground, maybe even get some first-hand experience from them!

I full time in a 5th wheel and love it, but then I have been involved with towing trailers since a very early age on a farm. Most of the singles I have seen, male and female, have been with a Class C.

I would agree with the previous post, ask around at campgrounds and get some face to face opinions. I think I would like a Class C, but I love my 5'er.
